Opening in the Exumas, Amancaya will be Aman’s first resort in The Bahamas, set across two secluded private cays renowned for crystalline waters, white-sand beaches and world-class diving. Developed in partnership with Swiss investor and philanthropist Dona Bertarelli, the low-density island retreat will introduce Aman’s signature privacy, service and architectural sensitivity to one of the Caribbean’s most exclusive locations.
Meaning “peaceful island” in Taíno, Amancaya will feature a 36-pavilion Aman resort and a limited collection of fully serviced Aman Residences. Spanning two islands, the sanctuary will include a marina, Beach Club, multiple dining venues and a holistic Aman Spa.
Currently under construction with the involvement of Squircle Capital, Amancaya reflects Aman’s commitment to sustainability, targeting LEED certification and aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The resort will be Aman’s third Caribbean destination, joining Amanera in the Dominican Republic and Amanyara in Turks & Caicos.
